This life, this person, is no more.
I chose Avril because her history is the most solid one in my mind.
It was a lot of fun to essentially watch her grow up. See her go through her phases. From sweet little girl, to tween punk with a blue streak, to friendly but mischievous teenager.
Drawing her with her hair down, hanging with friends, doing (mostly) average things. It made me realize how normal she was before shit hit the fan. Almost makes me feel bad for putting her through hell. Almost.
I really enjoyed this. It was a lot of work (4 days of nonstop drawing) but was so worth it. It was great practice in drawing consistent characters, and it also gave me a chance to design Avril's old friends.

Wow! I don't know who this character is but you filled this meme out wonderfully! Most people don't take too much time with these but this is fantastic. I love your style, both the coloring and the art itself. I especially like the school photos and that she only has the blue hair strip in one. People DO change their hairstyles as they grow up.
I've been thinking of doing this meme myself and you have inspired me!
